Join ReCenter Indiana
ReCenter Indiana is dedicated to encouraging young adults become voters this year. This is the 2nd largest age group in Indiana but has the lowest voter turnout. If you’re 18–34 and hopeful about building a better Indiana, we’d love to build it with you. This is your chance to turn ideas into action and make voting work for young people in Indiana. We have several ways for you to jump in and make a difference.
Choose your favorite path by Feb 1.
Each of these four volunteer gigs runs Feb 9-March 9 and requires no more than 4 hours of independent time and attendance at 2 Zoom meetings.
Brainstormer: Collaborate in strategy sessions to generate bold, creative ideas that help your peers show up and vote in the November 2026 election. Fresh thinking encouraged.
Party Planner: Help plan a high-energy event that brings together partners and donors who believe in young adults and want to invest in a stronger, more inclusive democracy.
Launcher: Co-create a pitch competition for innovative social media campaigns that inspire young adults to engage and vote. The winning idea will be funded, promoted, and launched this fall.
Connecter: Invite young adults to join our efforts to create a diverse team
ReCenter Indiana Inc. is a leading nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to reminding all elected officials to center on the priorities of the people. ReCenter Indiana informs and encourages Hoosiers to vote, be civically engaged, and have a voice in their community.
