All Indiana GOP House members fall in line with Trump on redistricting

Within a few hours in a single day, all seven Hoosier Republicans in the U.S. House fell in line. They all embraced President Trump’s demand that Indiana redraw its Congressional district map – without a new census – to tighten his grip on power. But, the national outlet Politico reports, state GOP lawmakers are pushing back, “with one hard-right representative slamming it as ‘politically optically horrible.’" And a former state official explains to his young daughter* that legislators don’t work for the president; instead, they are responsible to their fellow Hoosiers.
